How do we make that awesome stuff?

 REcreate Designs is a collection of clothing, books, bags, and accessories made from upcycled bits and pieces. Raw materials are sourced from thrift and second-hand outlets and repurposed into one-of-a-kind products. We reclaim and breathe new life into cast-off scraps. REcreate Designs: Seeing things not as they are, but what they can become.

 We shop weekly at area second-hand stores for fun materials: t-shirts, dress shirts, polos, and just about anything made from stretchy jersey knit. During the shopping process, we aim to select 100% cotton garments that are stain and pill free. We break down and trim slightly damaged shirts into smaller pattern pieces for our clothing designs. Donations of materials are accepted, and can be dropped of at the workshop or delivered in-person at any of our markets or events.

 After we acquire bundles and bags full of inspiration, we sort the materials and cut pieces using our own patterns. The cut pieces are organized and placed in bins to keep things flowing smoothly. We then pull the parts together and sew them on industrial machines, using high-quality thread and solid workmanship to create the finished product.

 We strive to deliver a quality, well-designed product that can speak for itself, providing a secondary message about recycling and reusing. REcreate Designs is always developing new product ideas, and is constantly inspired by the world around us.
